The week in gaming
I've been fortunate this holiday season. The past seven days were filled with gaming. I wanted do individual posts for each game, but who am I kidding? Instead, here are some pics.
What are the Marvel characters? HeroClix? They look too big, but I could be wrong, and of course if they are, then they've been rebased. What rule-set do you use for your superheroic gaming?
Zanazaz, the Marvel characters are from Heroscape, a non-collectible miniatures game that Hasbro released several years ago and discontinuted last year.
The master sets (there were three, including the Marvel set pictured above) came with a whole bunch of minis from historical, sci-fi, and fantasy genres and modular terrain hexes. There were also more than a dozen waves of expansions. However, the only Marvel characters produced (5 heroes and 5 villains) came with the Marvel master set.

Thanks Desert Scribe! I never got into Heroscape, but the minis look nice. I don't think I want to pay the price Heroscape is going for these days....
