More post-Christmas crap

This time from Michael's, post-holiday.  I picked up three packages of these "Cone Shaped & Sculpted Topiaries" (shown here with a Heroscape/D&D Minis figure) for 60 percent off.  I'm not sure if I should remove the trees from their holders or use these pieces as-is.  What does everyone think?

I guess they'd stand too short if you remove they from the vase, if this little guy on side is the reference scale for them.

They wouldn't look like trees, but rather bushes. I guess you can use them as they are as indoor furniture for castles, etc.

Anyway, just my 2 cents.
