A few fighters more

Some additional starfighters from the Starfleet Wars/Galactic Knights miniatures line.  These are the Terran Comet light attack craft.

I painted this batch in Red Fleet colors.  That Terran group was the first unit I started painting, and it's funny that I'm still working on it several years later.

The Reds are the largest of my task forces, with a whole lot of escorts and several capital ships, including galactic attack carriers and galactic dreadnoughts, all of which carry fighters.

These interceptors have a familiar look.  If the Terran Meteor heavy fighter took its design from the Rebel X-wing, then this craft owes a debt to the Colonial Viper.

Regardless of where they draw their inspiration, these starfighters look good on the table, especially when there's a swarm of them attacking an enemy starship!
